Quick Quotes Altered Canvas Mini
Hello out there! It has been a while since my last post, so it's time to share a project with you. This one was very special. My niece lost a very dear friend and had very few photos of him, so I put together this little canvas kit from Quick Quotes for her to look at whenever she was missing her friend.
All the chipboard pieces (in silver) were inked up with Silver Metallic Stazon. After the ink was dry, Tim Holtz Fabulous Flourishes stamps were used on the page tabs and black metallic paper was placed behind the cut-out letters. The chipboard photo frames were done in the same technique, using a stamp from Hot Off The Press, Artful Collection. A close-up is below.

Paper Wishes Cards from Scraps
Hello bloggerville! Up on the blog today are some cards mostly made from leftover scraps from a Paper Wishes Cardmaker Kit. Here is a sneak peek...
Stamps used on these projects from Paper Wishes :
Hero Arts Stamp: Flourish Stamp & Emboss Set (this is a really cool set - stamp the pattern on your paper, then place it into the embossing folder, run it through the Big Shot and now you have a stamped and embossed image!)
Cuttlebug die used: Embossed Tags
Ribbons from my stash completed each card and the bows were made with the Peg Bowmaker found here.

Teresa Collins Visits The Scrapbooking Studio
Hello everyone! Thanks for stopping by the blog today! Up on the blog today are some photos from a recent class at The Scrapbooking Studio. Teresa Collins taught her Memories Journal Class with one of the new paper lines she has out-Memories. Click here to see it.
I just want to say that Teresa is the real deal. A genuinely beautiful person inside and out, she is passionate about family and of course, telling her story! What an inspiration!
This photo is Amy, the store owner, introducing Teresa to the group.
This is the beautiful memories album we made in three hours! It has 32 pages! The way she has her class kits prepped with instructions and actual photographs of each page helped this class teach itself!
Some of the design team and store employees posing with Teresa...
The next several photos are some of embellishments I added to the already beautiful project.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today. If you ever have an opportunity to take one of Teresa Collins' classes, please do. It is worth every penny!

Authentiqe Renew Layouts
Hello bloggers! BRRR! It's cold out there today! Let's warm up with some Spring layouts with Authentique's Renew line from The Scrapbooking Studio!

Both layouts have interactive flaps to enable more photos on each layout. These two layouts combined can hold a minimum of 13 photos! The interactive flaps were made by punching each layer with the Lucky 8 Classic Wreath punch. The top layer was punched with both switches in the "on" position on two corners only. The remaining corners were punched with only the outside punch switch on. The 2 layer pocket on the lower edge of the layout on the left was also made with the Lucky 8 punch.

The interactive parts...the double layer photo mat was fussy-cut around the yellow flowers and accented with some bling in some of the flower centers.

A detail shot of the wood veneer medallion, painted white and layered onto the outside flap with a flower made from Spellbinder's Rose Creations Dies. The flower centers are pearl stamens from my stash colored with Addirondack alcohol ink in butterscotch.
And...there was some leftover glitter ribbon from last month's projects and it was a perfect match for this line!
The second layout was oriented to open on the right side of the page. Hinges decked out with bling from my stash were add to this flap, along with a piece from Titles and Phrases for the title and a partially hidden journal block. The title piece was accented with flowers made from Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms dies, a pearl pin, Queen & Co. twine and Diamond Stickles.

Authentique Renew Mini Book
Hello bloggers! TheScrapbooking Studio in Bloomington assigned February’s projects to me using the
fabulous “Renew” Spring line from Authentique and they are awesome!
This is a really photo-heavy post, so sit back, relax and
(hopefully) be inspired!
This 16-page mini is made from a Maya Road Chipboard binder,
painted with white acrylic paint, then stamped with Tim Holtz Mixed Media StampSet (chicken wire). The strap hinges are
from the Element Sticker sheet. The
flowers were cut with Bitty Blossom Dies from Spellbinders, inked with Mustard Seed Distress Ink, then accented with Diamond Stickles. Also used on the cover were Puzzle Pieces
from the line and, of course, some bling from my stash!
