CKC Quick Quotes and Teresa Collins

Hello fabulous bloggers! I hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July!   I am back today with another fabulous project class completed at Creating Keepsakes Convention from Quick Quotes!  For this cute mini book, Teresa Collins Carolina Breeze line was used.  Another really great project from Quick Quotes!  Visit their blog, here. Check out Teresa's blog, here.   And now, for the photos!  There are several, so go get a drink, come back and scroll down the page!

This how the mini looks when closed.  It is very sturdy with canvas chipboard covers.  Aren't all the layers cool?  They really show off Teresa's paper well.  The die-cut scallop circle in the front will hold a photo.

Almost all the page decorations and titles are from the 12 x 12 sheet of die cuts that match the paper line.  Isn't the striped banner adorable?

The right-hand page has a little pocket at the bottom which holds mini tags.
 Another cute banner..

There is a frame on the right page...it blends in with the background a little, but it holds four little photos. So cute!  I loved this project!

The new Lemonade Chalk Ink and also Midnight Confession were used on this project.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today!  Be Inspired!  Jules

CKC - Gimme 'dat Bling!

Hello awesome bloggers!  Today is another post from CKC Convention in St. Louis.
Up today is a really "blingy" LO from Quick Quotes.  Purple is one of my favorite colors, so I really enjoyed this one!  All the plain white matting was stamped with a large flourish stamp (Tattered Angels) and the photo mats on the right were stamped with a script stamp ~ it kind of tones down the bright white, don;t you think?

The flowers and bling really made the layout pop...see that white, corkscrew-like thing?  It is wired raffia!  Cool!  All the paper flowers were dry embossed with a stylus and inked for some extra pop.
There is even a little mini book on the left page...
This layout holds a LOT of photos!  There is space for three photos on the outside of the pocket and five more on the tags!
A green center was added to this latex flower with some Limeade ink and a pen nib.
I cannot wait to add some photos to this one, but I'll have to wait until after bonus daughter's wedding in September!  It goes really well with her chosen colors!

QQ Chalk inks used in this project:  Purple Passion, Blue Hawaiian, Very Berry and Limeade
