Teresa Collins Christmas Cottage

Hello Bloggers!  It has been a very busy month for this blogger!  I have only had one weekend off in the past six weeks!  Yikes!  But I did manage to get in some crafting because one of my weekends was a girlfriend's getaway!  Yeah!  (Missed you, Nette!)

So, let's get started:  First up, a design team layout project for The Scrapbooking Studio in Bloomington.

The thought process behind this layout was to create a Christmas gift with the Striped POW! glitter paper as the "ribbon."  The 'bow' is a layered die cut flower from the line which was curled with a dry-embossing stylus.  A TC Fabrications brad finished off the center and on the tag.

The flower and the banners were spritzed with Mr. Huey's mist to give them some sheen.  The sticker and die cut sheets were pieced to make the title on the gift tag, with journaling on the back.

The next layout has stickers, chipboard, die cuts, Prima flowers, pleated ribbon, hidden journaling and lots of layers and Stickles!

The flower grouping...

This flower was handmade from pleated velvet and organza ribbon, centered with a TC jewel from the line.

Some of the die-cuts and chipboard...

Cool hexagon stickers, too!

Authentique "Carefree" Layouts

Hello everyone!  Thanks for stopping by today!  The Scrapbooking Studio in Moline gave me this awesome Authentique paper line to work with this month, along with some Wendy Vecchi "Embellish Your Art" parts.
The papers were perfect for those outdoor picnic photos.  We didn't really have a picnic, but we grilled some awesome food that day!

The right-hand page is a water fall album.

That little tag on the bottom corner of the picture says, "a smile is the prettiest thing you can ever wear."  Awww!  My sis-in-law, Lynn has a beautiful smile, doesn't she?

Close up of the title.  The banner was made from the leftover paper after cutting the border for the right-hand page.  It was matted with dark brown Bazzill .  The letters are from the sticker sheet.  They were mounted on hexagons cut from the "bee" printed paper and matted with brown cardstock, then dimensionalized with Ranger Pop-its.

For the journaling block, hand journaling, combined with stickers from the sticker sheet, told the story...

 Fussy-cut flowers with button centers...and a bee...

Waterfall album cover...

Tim Holtz Distress Marker and Distress Ink in Barn Door were used to color Wendy's floral spray.  A coat of Glossy Accents went on top of the inked flowers.  A fussy-cut bee was added to the 'vase,' which was painted with ivory acrylic paint.

Closeup of waterfall album...all of the embellishments were from the sticker sheet.  There were tons to choose from!  The dark brown and red satin ribbons are from American Crafts.

Side views of the album.  There are sixteen photos crammed in there!

All of these items may be purchased at The Scrapbooking Studio!  Stop by and get yours today!

Thanks for looking in today!  Be Inspired!  Jules

Iris-folded Cupcake Card

Hello fab bloggers and friends! Thanks for stopping by today!  The card shared today is a modification of a kit card from Paper Wishes.  The cupcake was "frosted" with Distress Stickles in Rock Candy and the confetti was colored in with ClearSnap Smooch Ink.  The lettering was also accented with Smooch.

I like the way the camera picked up the Distress Stickle  "frosting!"

On the inside of the card, A birthday greeting was stamped from the Birthday Greetings stamp set (Paper Wishes) and accented with Smooch.  The lettering on the front and the Happy on the inside were foam taped for some dimension and a striped ribbon added a little more bling.
Smooch colors used were Illuminate, Grape Soda, Lettuce, Sassy Pink, Ocean Soul, Cape Cod and Pumpkin.

Thanks for stopping by today...be inspired...Jules
