Happy New Year!

Hello, Bloggers!  Today, I am sharing a card.

 

This is a card made for sets given to my office staff.  The patterned paper is from a FREE paper pad received at a Creating Keepsakes Convention.  The inside tags were printed from a CD purchased at Paper Wishes.  The focal was made from  Stampendous Wild Flower Sprigs purchased at my LSS Scrapbook Dreams.

To make the focal, the “stamp scene” was built on a stamp block, then stamped with Black Stazon onto water color paper.  After cleaning the stamp,  Smooch Inks  were used to color the stamp and re-stamp it onto the first image.  The lavender ribbon around the sentiment, the bird and bee were colored in by hand.  If you haven’t used Smooch Inks, they are a lot of fun!   A little Purple Passion from QQ was then applied to each layer.  The purple loop ribbon was also purchased from Paper Wishes.
