The Mercurial Masterpeice paper from Graphic 45 Olde Curiosity Shoppe was the starting point for this layout, as another design team project for The Scrapbooking Studio.
I love how the paper was printed so that a frame could be fashioned from it, so that is what I did! Some of the outside edges and ALOT of the inside graphic were cut away and backed with the reverse side (dots) of the paper. Some Prima pearls were layered onto the corners, two of which were fussy-cut and dimensionalized with foam tape. The corner treatments on the photo frame were made from 3/4" and 1" circle punches, topped with Jenni Bowlin pearl flowers. The striped paper for the frame is called Optical Oddities; the inside edges were folded under to give the frame a finished look. Quick Quotes Midnight Confession and Antique Linen Distress Inks were used for this project.
The title was made from black Bazzill cardstock, using the matching cardstock stickers from the paper line. The journaling block is from the Olde Curiosity Shoppe Tags 2. They are a nice, thick chipboard and add good texture to the layout. An EK Success slim layered flower punch was used to make the four-layer flower, which was embossed with a stylus for some added dimension and place upon a black scallop circle. Detail photos are below...
Thanks for looking in today! Be Inspired!
