Authentique "Carefree" Altered Projects

Hi!  Thanks for stopping by today to see the "altered art" projects made for The Scrapbooking Studio this month!  Lots of photos, so grab a cool drink and let's scroll...

First up, a ribbon jar for those ribbon scraps none of us can bear to toss!  More fussy-cut flowers, buttons, letter stickers, and of course, ribbon!  The edge of the lid has two layers of ribbon.

The jar top embellishment is a Wendy Vecchi Embellish Your Art part which was sanded, then inked with Barn Door Distress Ink and sprayed with an acrylic coating.  Some more fussy-cut flowers and buttons completed the arrangement.

Next up is a matchbook from the Tim Holtz Matchbook Die Set.  Making matchbooks just got 100% more simple!  The most difficult part about making it was "which paper, which paper, which paper!"

Inside pages for 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 photos

I couldn't make just one matchbook, so I made both sizes!

This one will hold 1-3/4 x 2-1/2 photos.

A great way to add your photos to either of these matchbooks would be to order collage prints, cut them up, glue them in and you are done! Simple!
All the products may be purchased at The Scrapbooking Studio.  Get yours soon!

Thanks for stopping in today!  Be Inspired!  Jules
